Demolition of existing property and construction of a new dwelling with detached double garage.
The use of natural stone and slate throughout the development reflects the local vernacular. This is considered to be a significant improvement from the previous red brick and plain tiled dwelling.
The main entrance is central to the dwelling with the intention of providing symmetrical elevations. Internally, the large hall provides the focus and hub of the dwelling from which all rooms are accessed.
To the rear of the building, a large single storey garden room benefits from 180° views across the garden and fields. To the first and second floors, the double height space from the hall continues the theme with a total of 4no bedrooms provided, including a large master bedroom suite and terrace over the garden room.
